P.O.V - Portraits Of Vulnerability

“P.O.V” is a deep look into the personal mind and world perception of individual subjects through photography. The world is full of over seven billion unique people who all perceive themselves and the world differently. I am fascinated by the connection between what we see and what others interpret. So, I wanted to explore the idea of subject interaction with the artwork. I asked all of the subjects the same questions. What is vulnerability to you? What makes you feel vulnerable? How would you define vulnerability through a photograph? Through this deep discussion with each of them we were able to come to a unique photograph to represent them. Each image has a unique composition, editing style, subject and manipulation. “P.O.V” is intended to bring about discussion around the idea and representation of vulnerability for the subjects and the viewers.
